My Strategy for Long Term Weight Loss

A few golden rules apply:

I trained with Paul McKenna, a famous English hypnotist. I learned many useful things from Paul and I utilise his weight loss strategy in my work in helping people lose weight, not just for a short while but for a lifetime.

Eat When you are hungry

Eat what you want

Eat consciously – chew each mouthful 20 x times

Stop when you are full.

Also drink plenty of water through out the day

Most people are used to depriving themselves when it comes to food. They are either on a diet and eating like a sparrow, or thinking to hell with it, and gorging on whatever they like. Neither way makes them happy.

How To Change

I utilise various tools and techniques and especially hypnosis to help reprogram the unconscious mind. This is where the magic happens.

Although hypnosis is a fabulous resource in helping you to gain and retain your desired weight, you do have to put in some effort too, it’s a two-way exercise, like a dance.

I prefer to book a 5-session program for weight loss to help us peel away the old limiting patterns and beliefs and install new, healthy eating habits.

There are three reasons people are not at their desired weight.

One, we have already mentioned which is getting tricked by the dieting industry.

Two, I call faulty programming. This is where we have been programmed as children, being told to eat everything on our plate and that it’s wrong to waste food.

3. The third most powerful block to our desired weight is around our state of mind. We eat for so many reasons other than hunger, such as boredom, fear, stress, anxiety, guilt, excitement etc., and until you satisfy the underlying emotional need you will never be satisfied with food.

Guiding you to connect with your inner resources and letting go of old emotional beliefs and habits can take a while, its not like quitting smoking where one session is all it takes
