Quit Smoking With Hypnosis
If you really want to stop but think it’s too hard, I want to reassure you that it doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, it can be easy and effortless.
Some people think that change has to be difficult, but I don’t work like that, I think that all people need to have is a strong enough desire and a massive sense of humour.
People have had a range of thinking and beliefs about smoking for many years but the one thing that makes all the difference is something simple.
For generations, people have been told about nicotine addiction and that addiction is something that’s hard to give up. But it’s simply not true.
The nicotine is out of your system within a few days and lots of people give up smoking for a few days, in fact, people give up usually for a few hours every night whilst they are asleep.
The missing link is the fact that you have the ability to think. You were born with having some simple gifts that are responsible in how you live your life and how you perceive reality.
Thought itself is neutral, its via the gift of thought that we create our moment to moment reality. We also have the gift of consciousness, which means we are aware of our thinking.
Through thinking we form our belief s and values.
A belief is something we hold to be true, its an idea not the truth. We upgrade beliefs all the time. I used to think olives where created by the devil, Satan’s food, until when I was around 40 years old and ate an olive that tasted delicious, in that moment my whole story around olives changed.
Imagine for a moment waking up in the morning and knowing its time for your first cigarette of the day, notice what you hear inside your mind, the images you are creating and how you are feeling. Notice how that need for a cigarette builds up and then notice how the craving for the cigarette fades when you know you are going to be lightening one up and taking that first drag.
This is important, notice how you feel better before you actually get the nicotine into your system.
Just thinking about having that cigarette changes how you feel, not actually smoking the cigarette.
I’m a bit like a bouncer at a nightclub door when it comes to taking on smokers. Because I don’t want trouble. I want an easy time so there’s a few rules or criteria that are important to be aware of.
You have to be ready to become a non-smoker.
(I don’t care if you believe you want to but can’t stop, just that you know beyond a doubt that you have a desire to be a non[smoker)

Realise that this isn’t me controlling you, its more like a dance, where you don’t fight me and neither do you let me push you, its more of an allowing the process.
You are giving up smoking because YOU want to and not because somebody else wants you to.
Recognise the responsibility for giving up smoking is yours, not mine.
Covid-19 and Smoking: According to the WHO (World Health Organisation)
Smokers are likely to be more vulnerable to COVID-19 as the act of smoking means that fingers (and possibly contaminated cigarettes) are in contact with lips which increases the possibility of transmission of virus from hand to mouth. Smokers may also already have lung disease or reduced lung capacity which would greatly increase risk of serious illness.
Conditions that increase oxygen needs or reduce the ability of the body to use it properly will put patients at higher risk of serious lung conditions such as pneumonia.
Research:
In a Hypnotherapy Stop Smoking study, where smokers attended individual hypnotherapy to stop smoking over three sessions, 81% have given up stopped smoking after the hypnosis treatment ended, and at a 12 month follow-up nearly 50% previous smokers remained smoke free and 95% were satisfied with their quit smoking hypnosis treatment.

Watkins reported 78% immediately quit smoking with hypnosis and 76% hypnosis stop smoking success at six months and in a review of research, Holroyd found rates at six months of hypnotherapy stop smoking follow up of up to 88%.
